For a business team building experience, I booked an amazing cooking class with Dakar Jollof! To start, I made all the arrangements via WhatsApp from the USA. It was perfect!! I worked directly with Naima, owner of Dakar Jollof, to set up our cooking adventure and she made everything so easy. We had such a great time in this cooking class. It was such a great opportunity to meet new people, experience a new culture, and try new foods. What we really walked away with was a huge amount of respect for the women in Senegal, who spend their time cooking in kitchens, whether in restaurants or for their families. The experience was amazing. I joined a group of 6 people and everybody has the full experience of the process of makingThieboudienne / jollof rice under the guide of the staff. The process was very smooth and people are very friendly. Environment was nice and the staff made a good arrangement for everything. The fee was a bit high at first, but adding translation and seeing the amount of food we got and ended up taking home, this is definitely worth it.
