Experience an exquisite surf and turf dinner aboard North America's LARGEST solar-powered boat!


Enjoy Island mussels, Caesar salad, local lobster and or rib eye (grass fed PEI beef) with seasonal vegetables, choice of 2 desserts and tea/coffee aboard the Isola Solaretto - a 55 year old Canadian Heritage Vessel from the famous 1967 Montreal Expo (World's Fair).


This completely rebuilt and repowered licensed tour boat sports 6kw of solar panels on the roof, 40kW of NiCd batteries under the glass floor, 20kW electric motor, full kitchen, bathroom, WiFi and comfortable booth seating for 34 people.


Learn about the birthplace of Canada, historic sights along the water front, the aqua life in the harbour, the technology used on the world's FIRST solar-powered dinner cruise boat, and our boat at the famous 1967 Montreal Expo where it was first in service.

Port-la-Joye - Fort Amherst (Pass By)

See where the Mi'Kmaq settled and later where the French built a fort to defend the mouth of Charlottetown Harbour before falling to the English. Now a national historic site for visitors from around the world.
