How do I find experiences that accommodate my dietary restrictions?

On the listing page, you may filter experiences based on dietary restriction. Select your dietary restriction and apply the filter to see all the experiences that fit your needs.

How do I know the meeting location for the experience?

The meeting location details will either be provided on the experience page under “Meeting Point and Meeting Time '' or the directions will be enclosed in the welcome email, if the host chooses to send one. You will also receive the host’s contact information in case of emergency.

How do I book an experience?

First, use the search bar and filters to find a specific experience. Then, select the date for the experience and number of participants. Add any additional notes, such as dietary restrictions, in the additional notes section. Then, make the payment. If the host has set the experience to “Instant Confirmation,” the booking will be confirmed automatically. If the host has set the experience to “Manual Confirmation,” the host will need to confirm or reject. You will likely receive a reply within one business day. After confirmation, you will receive the detailed meeting instructions and access info.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

To check if your booking has been confirmed, please log in, click on your profile image in the top right corner and select “Transactions.” Under “Experience Bookings,” you can see your booking summary and status. You can also check your email. If you have received a booking confirmation email, the booking has been confirmed.

Which payment methods does byFood accept?

ByFood currently accepts the following credit cards: AMEX, VISA, and Mastercard.

Is my payment secure?

In consideration of the safety of our guests’ personal information, we use Stripe, one of the most secure and widely-used payment companies in the world, as the payment gateway to ensure that your details are kept private. You can rest assured that your credit card, debit card, and other personal information are encrypted and safely stored.
