Enrich your visit to Athens with a private tour to a Traditional Local farm specializing in Organic Permaculture. Enjoy a tour of the Farm including its various methods of sustainable production before an Olive Oil Workshop & Farm-to-Fork lunch on the premises.
Our tour is exclusive to your group & uses new luxury Mercedes Sedan, Minivans or Sprinter models. With your experienced, informative & considerate driver along the way, this is a great local excursion from Athens beside the sea views of the Aegean coast.
On request we can also extend your day with several sites located in the same area near Cape Sounion such as the impressive clifftop Temple of Poseidon, or Thorikos, the worlds oldest known Theatre (small additional cost).

90 MINUTE OLIVE TASTING & TOUR
OLIVE OIL TASTING: Your tour will visit the olive groves learning about the different varieties of olive, understanding its history & place in Greek culture. The visit continues to our small-scale, state-of-the art cold extraction olive press, where participants hear about the production of extra virgin olive oil, its challenges and secrets for superior quality. Participants then get to experience three extra-virgin olive oils, and learn how to distinguish their fruity, bitter and spicy aromas.

ORGANIC LUNCH. All produce included in your lunch is grown & produced on the farm with an emphasis on 'farm-to-fork quality. Enjoy an a la carte feast from the farms daily selection. A typical example menu would consist of wholewheat sourdough bread, homemade “galotyri” cheese from the farm and vegetable casserole of the day, accompanied by Greek yogurt with honey from the farm hives. Any specific requests can always be accommodated.

LAKE VOUILIAGMENI. A natural rock formation & small lake set just off the sea front. The waters of this spring have been used by locals for decades as a health treatment. Changing facilities are also on hand.
THE TEMPLE OF POSEIDON. At the southernmost point of the Peninsula of Athens lies the Temple of Poseidon. Located 70 meters on a clifftop this amazing temple was dedicated to the God Poseidon. It was the last thing Ancient sailors saw on leaving port & the first site on return with many legends to learn.
THORIKOS THEATER. Open and unguarded, this site contains the ruins of the world's oldest Theater alongside the ancient Greek town around it which once thrived from local Silver Mines.
