Banh mi is one of the most iconic and widely enjoyed Vietnamese street foods. Its variations across regions—and even between individual vendors—make it both highly accessible and intriguingly diverse. In this class, you'll learn how to bake authentic banh mi, considered one of the most challenging breads even for experienced Vietnamese bakers. You'll also prepare one or more traditional fillings, depending on group size. To complete the experience, you'll discover how to make three of Hanoi’s most beloved coffees: egg coffee, coconut coffee, and salt coffee.
