With the help of Felipe and Matias, grandsons of Doña Elena, you will learn about the history and legacy she left in the town of San Pedro Atocpan, and you will also be able to tour the mole factory where this tradition began. Tour the Mole Doña Elena factory, owned by Elena Estrada and Felipe Garibay, pioneers in the business and art of mole in the town of San Pedro Atocpan, a community that today is mostly dedicated to mole and is the main producer of this dish in the entire country. Learn about the history of Doña Elena from her grandsons Felipe and Matias. You will also have the opportunity to taste the main types of mole produced at the Mole Doña Elena factory: Mole Especial, Mole Almendrado, Mole Verde, Adobo, among others.
