From Langhirano, seat of the Museum of Parma ham, you will reach a ham factory where you will witness the production process, based on an ancient and unchanging knowledge. After a rich tasting of local delicacies, you will get back to the historical heart of Parma, where a majestic Cathedral and a gorgeous Baptistry dominate the skyline of the small, yet charming capital of taste and beauty.

Born in 2004, the Museum of Parma Ham offers to the visitors a complete overview about the best known delicacy of Parma "Food Valley". A private guided tour will go across the eight sections of the Museum, discovering the history of local farming and breeding, the different varieties of pigs, the evolution of the productive techniques and the related gastronomic tradition.

Private guided tour in the cathedral, outstanding for its Romanesque structure and for the art treasures it keeps: from the Medieval Deposition from the Cross, by Benedetto Antelami, to the frescoed dome by Correggio.
