We will meet everybody at the Cave where the experience takes place. Look for an arch and a big green door in Recinto Santa Maria! On the maps search for: Cava Marlò. The place is in the heart of the Sassi and it is NOT possible to reach us by car. PARKING SCOTELLARO could be a good option.

Caution...Not your typical cooking Lessen….BUT

The only experience to undestand the Lucanos thinking & attachment to their land through the simple link of a tomato sauce the way Nonna said it should be done. Thank you, Cosimo (chef) & Lorenzo for the unforgettable time spent with you in your spectacular sassi cave. By the way! How many cooking schools let you enjoy eating the cooking in a private dining room...with linen & napkin holder? A kind, peronalized and convivial experience NOT to be missed. Highlight of our trip!

I highly recommend booking this if you’re in Matera, it was the highlight of our trip. We had such a lovely time, full of laughter and very tasty food. Lorenzo and Cosimo were the best. When we arrived, they gave us a tour of the cave and taught us a bit about the history of Matera and the rejuvenation of the cave we were in. Wonderful pasta class in sassi cave

Fantastic experience. Cossimo and Lorenzo were fantastic and very informative. The pasta was wonderful and learned much about the history of Matera from their personal experiences with their families. I would absolutely recommend this experience.
