Gnocchi are one of the typical dishes of the city of Verona and to me, they represent family and sharing. Like a family, we are going to make them and eat them together.

Helpful tips to make gnocchi everywhere, everytime you want to.
two-course meal in a local home
Since I was little I have always loved helping my Nonna in her house in the countryside. If I think back to those moments I see the large wooden table in the center of the room, the flour here and there, her smiles, and my little pieces of pasta stolen and then eaten.
Gnocchi are simple and quick to prepare but at the same time, they can give you nuts. In these hours together I will teach you to recognize the perfect potatoes, to prepare the dough following my Nonna's recipe, and finally to give them the shape that characterizes them throughout the world. Then, while we enjoy a cozy aperitivo, you'll be able to learn and cook them properly. Then we will sit at the same table and enjoy them accompanied by a glass of wine from a special Venetian winery and lots of laughter.
IMPORTANT: The recipe will be made and cooked with no/low salt and sugar to savor the true essence of the food and be surprised by the sensations that will be perceived on the palate. Please let me know in advance if you have any special needs or if you have any food intolerances or allergies.
OTHER THING TO NOTE:
In the apartment, there are two cute and sweet cats. Please let us know if you have a cat allergy.

Such a delightful morning with Valentina She was so personal and encouraging. We felt like we were part of her family and that her Nonna was going to join us at any time. 5 stars is not enough. David is hysterical. Thank you for hosting this incredible experience.

Super fun activity
Vallì and her husband Dave were both accommodating and fun. The class was super fun, educational and located in a lively area of Verona. It's very close to the main train station if you are hopping between areas/cities within Italy. Glad we booked this class! It was only about 2.5-3 hours and we get to eat what we made. Culture and Cooking - a combination that can't be beat! Yummy potato gnocchi!
Step by step exactly how to get potato gnocchi to stay together and be delicious. The gorgonzola cheese sauce for the pasta was outstanding and simple. We heard wonderful stories and learned more about the culture of the area and what living there is like. The cultural sharing is worth at least as much as the knowledge how to cook! Definitely recommend this sweet young lady and her partner for a great cultural experience overall.

A great evening preparing & eating yummy gnocchi with new friends :)
Such a fun cooking experience! We had an amazing time preparing Valentina's grandma's gnocchi recipe. The 'class' was great and we really learned how to make gnocchi from scratch. And the entire time it felt like we were hanging out with friends. Valentina & Dave were so welcoming and fun - and ending the experience with a beautiful gnocchi dinner, wine and a nice conversation made it all the more memorable.
