Experience Details

Spending the night in our Berber tent camp gives you the unique opportunity to gain a small insight into the life of the blue Tuareg. The campsite is located at a point from where you have a gigantic view over the ocean. The food is of high quality and is freshly prepared from organically grown produce right in front of your eyes and cooked to typical local recipes. After dinner, the evening ends around the campfire with live local music.

Each booking sleeps in its own tent.

Good To Know

  • We can accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc. If you have dietary requirements, please indicate it to the special requirements at the time of booking.
  • Please note: The bivouac is only possible with a reservation and sending of the passports 2 weeks before the activity, as required by the local authorities of Essaouira
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • A minimum of 3 full prices tickets is required
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Specialized infant seats are available

What You’ll Experience

Our pick-up service will take you from Essaouira to Diabat. There you will be briefly explained how this activity works, then our driver will take you to the Berber tent camp, which is located in a beautiful spot on the Atlantic coast. You will be welcomed with a peppermint tea and our cook will start preparing dinner. Those who wish can help with the cooking. Dinner is served outside and as soon as everyone is eating, the bongos start drumming and you are entertained with local rhythmic music. The evening ends around the campfire and you can admire a fantastic starry sky. The next morning there is a hearty breakfast, after which you are taken back to Diabat.
