Immerse yourself in Japanese culinary traditions with a hands-on sushi class in San Jose, hosted through Cozymeal. Limited to a small group, this workshop with an esteemed sushi chef teaches you the essentials of seafood sushi-making.


The menu you will prepare includes:


- Starter: Spicy sesame edamame

- Sushi rice preparation for rolling and shaping

- California roll with real crab, cucumber and avocado

- Spicy tuna roll with sriracha and fresh tuna

- Nigiri with shrimp, tuna or eel (market availability)


Learn knife techniques, rice preparation and plating while creating a complete sushi menu in an intimate, interactive setting.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to prepare a three-course menu highlighting authentic Japanese techniques and fresh seafood. The menu you will prepare includes: - Starter: Spicy sesame edamame tossed with Japanese seasoning and sesame seeds - Nigiri: A rotating selection such as shrimp, tuna or eel based on market availability - Sushi rolls: California roll made with real crab, cucumber and avocado, plus a bold spicy tuna roll with sriracha With guidance from an esteemed sushi chef, you’ll master sushi rice, rolling and plating skills. Guests may bring wine or beer to pair with the meal.
