For an adventure just 1.5 hours from Kumamoto City, you can try stream fishing for yourself at Kigo Nature Fishing Center, located in the lush forest of Mount Aso. The host can even pick you up in Kumamoto City and show you the scenic route to Aso. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery, you’ll get in touch with the land of Japan at this cool and refreshing spot. Relax among the dense forest as you fish in the clear river. Fishing is such a fun way to beat the summer heat. All equipment (fishing poles, bait, knife, slippers, towel) is provided, and even beginners and children will soon find themselves catching fresh fish like trout. Come stream fishing in Aso for a fun and family-friendly group experience for young and old alike. This tour is especially recommended for children. But once you’ve caught your fish, the fun isn’t over yet! You’ll go to a nearby restaurant where the fish you caught will be cooked and served to you alongside miso soup, rice, and other dishes. It’s so satisfying being able to try fresh fish that you caught for yourself, amidst the crisp air and relaxing nature of Mount Aso. Get in touch with the land of Japan as you immerse yourself in nature! This Stream Fishing in Aso experience is located in Kigo Nature Fishing Center, to the east of Aso caldera. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Kumamoto City and we can pick you up at your hotel, the train station, or another preferred meeting point in Kumamoto City.

The experience takes place at Kigo Nature Fishing Center, located to the east of Aso caldera (1.5 hour drive from Kumamoto City). We can pick you up at your hotel or a station in Kumamoto City.
All equipment is provided, you do not need to bring anything for fishing
