  • Private Allinclusive Tour option information: On Monday the Ancient Taormina Greek Theatre is closed. In this occasion you will enjoy the Greek Theatre from outside and we will refund to you the corresponding tickets cost (15 Euro per person)
  • Option Shared Tour: Solution with a lower price dedicated to travelers sharing the vehicle with a small group (up to 8 people per vehicle). Not customizable. It is not possible to include attractions tickets purchased by your own
  • Option Private Tour: This is a private Tour. Only your group will participate. Private Tour can be modified and/or customized (even while on tour)
  • Pickup Cruise Port: Your Driver will be waiting for you right outside the ship, holding a sign with your name on to be easily recognized
  • Air-conditioned, fully insured and licensed legal vehicle with professional English-speaking Driver
  • Wine Tasting: Minimum drinking age is 18 (will have soft drinks instead wine)

Taormina

You will enjoy famous Taormina town. Shopping Time and Time to explore on your own or if you wish, you have the option to include a private licensed guide for an additional fee (on Private Allinclusive Tour option). Idyllicly perched on a rocky promontory high above the sea, Taormina has been the most popular tourist destination in Sicily for a couple of hundreds of years, ever since it became an integral part of the Grand Tour. Beautifully restored mediaeval buildings, breathtaking views around every corner and a giddy network of winding streets strewn with shops, bars and restaurants make for a perfect holiday spot. Taormina’s past is Sicily’s history in a microcosm: Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Swabians, the French and the Spanish all came, saw, conquered and left.

Ancient Theatre of Taormina

Antico Teatro Greco di Taormina (Skip-The-Line Tickets included in Private Allinclusive Tour option). You can go inside on your own or if you wish, you have the option to include a private licensed guide for an additional fee (on Private tour option). The most important and best-preserved ancient monument in Taormina is the theater. It was built in a wonderful panoramic point, from which you can admire the bulk of Etna and the Ionian Sea. On some steps is engraved the name of Philistis, the wife of Hieron II, the tyrant of Syracuse who most likely in the third century BC. he had the Taormina theater built. The building was rebuilt in Roman times and more precisely in the 2nd century AD.

Mount Etna

Lunch and Wine Tasting (both included): In a local restaurant/winery on the slope of the Etna Volcano. All guests visiting the winery are welcome to stay for an "Italian style" tasting, held on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Cruise Port, right outside your ship, pickup and dropoff. • English-speaking Driver with a private vehicle will be waiting for you right outside the ship, holding a sign with your name on to be easily recognized. • No need to take Bus Shuttle from ship since our permits allow us to enter in the Cruise Port. In Shared Tour Option only: Your Driver may make a few stops (usually 2/3 stops) along the way to pick up, or drop off, fellow passengers. This means that your Driver could arrive within 15-30 minutes of your scheduled pickup time.
