Messina Winery and Villages from Taormina will give you breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and the Strait of Messina on the way to the village of Itala. You will be able to discover the Arab-Norman church of Saints Peter and Paul, a true jewel of medieval architecture, and many other churches rich in artworks.
The tour will continue in the medieval village of Scaletta, dominated by the beautiful Rufo Ruffo Castle, built by order of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia in 1220.
After the full immersion in history, you will have the opportunity to relax at a local winery nestled in a valley kissed by the sun. The owner will introduce you to the history of the place, guide you through the vineyards, and offer you a tasting of wines and local products that will delight your palate.
