You’ll spend the day with a knowledgeable welcoming guide, that can help you navigate local attractions or give you the inside scoop on where to find the quiet less touristy parts of Niagara Falls.


We work with world class educational partners and rural producers for your wine tasting and maple syrup experience. Your small group environment is prefect for those looking to learn more and have a deeper experience.

Pickup at 44 York Street (west side of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel) 7:30 AM. Your driver and guide will be waiting with a smile outside of the Rural Route Tour Company minibus to greet you! Please arrive early to check-in.

Pass by the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, often called Ontario’s prettiest town. Known for its well-preserved 19th-century architecture, vibrant gardens, and scenic lakefront, it’s a cultural gem rich in history from the War of 1812. This picturesque town offers a glimpse into Canada’s colonial past. Enjoy the scenic drive and learn about one of the most beautiful historic towns in the Niagara Region.

Fort George National Historic Site of Canada (Pass By)

Fort George National Historic Site is a key landmark in Canadian history, located near Niagara-on-the-Lake. It played a vital role in the War of 1812 as a British stronghold. Today, it offers a well-preserved glimpse into military life with original structures, costumed interpreters, and scenic views of the Niagara River. As we pass by, you’ll learn about its strategic importance and the battles that helped shape early Canada.

Laura Secord Homestead (Pass By)

The Laura Secord Homestead, located in Queenston, is the restored home of one of Canada’s most famous heroines. As we pass by, you’ll hear the story of her brave 1813 journey and how this woman changed the course of a war.

Brock's Monument National Historic Site (Pass By)
