At Casa Nepeta you can live a unique experience: become a truffle hunter for a day!
In the company of Andrea and his inseparable Romagna lakes, Maya and Jeena, you will venture into the woods of the Iblei Mountains in search of the precious nuggets of truffles, from blanctto to black truffles. You will pick them yourself, immersed in nature and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
After the truffle hunt, you can choose to relax at Casa Nepeta with a tasting of bitters and typical products, or opt for the option that includes a full lunch of fresh truffles, prepared with tubers harvested during the excursion.
We will also tell you our story and the process by which we transform the aromatic herbs of the Hyblean Mountains — such as Nepitella, Marjoram and Shrub Thyme — into our bitter Nepèta, Majora and Timous.
