Despite being the only guest registered for this workshop, Cameron warmly welcomed me. I enjoyed the photo-driven history he provided about Turkish coffee. I had an opportunity to try both traditional Turkish coffee and a pistachio version which I did not know existed and was tasty. Outside of coffee, Cameron and I engaged in discussions about our respective native countries and cultures. Cameron’s English is very good which was a rarity during my personal experience in Istanbul.
Very interesting and fun, they take you by the hand through the process of making coffee and you have fun interpreting the coffee!

This workshop was one of the highlights of our trip. What started as a simple coffee workshop turned into a deeply engaging, historical, and cultural journey. From the moment we arrived, our host, Ilham, greeted us warmly and offered refreshments. He is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and brings amazing energy to the session.
