Wine Tasting with light lunch in Montepulciano

A unique opportunity to taste our wines and olive oil paired with local specialities prepared by Lilian’s kitchen. Tasting of our wines paired with traditional Montepulciano cuisine in the striking refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria dei Servi (AD1200) and on the terrace overlooking San Biagio and the Val, d’Orcia. Producing wine in Montepulciano is not like producing wine just anywhere. Here, history, art and culture profoundly influence every moment of our work, and every sip of our wine recalls the values that have made this region famous over the centuries. Underneath the church of Santa Maria dei Servi, historically the Convento dei Padri Serviti built in 1200, there is a large underground gallery carved out of the tufa. For generations Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has been aged here, and a walk through it leads to hidden treasure – a erfectly preserved, ancient Etruscan tomb.
