Hands-down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Service, quality, presentation and food were phenomenal. My wife and I went for our anniversary and they made us feel special. We speak English and nothing was a problem. Exceptional experience overall.

We had an amazing experience here. The hospitality was excellent from the moment we arrived. The meat quality was incredibly fresh and premium. we tried the Premium Meat Plate for two, and it was more than enough. The yakitori experience was both fun and memorable, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the night. We are truly happy we came here. If we visit Osaka again, this will definitely be one of our first choices. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh and delicious Wagyu experience.

Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff. The Wagyu and yakitori were both fresh, delicious, and high quality. The portion sizes were very satisfying, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. Definitely a place we would visit again when we come back to Osaka.

The experience was great. The restaurant is cozy and the counter has traditional horigotatsu seating. The chef is very friendly and converses with you through the courses. The ensemble of flavors through out is great. You start off with a medley appetizers. Then you move on to various sashimi dishes. The main event was perfectly prepared wagyu with salt, soy sauce koji, and wasabi on the side if you want the added seasoning. The fina course an amazing rich dish and hot tea. All in all a great experience, definitely worth the visit if you’re in the Tennoji area of Osaka.

Serkan Toso
Toraichi is an outstanding yakiniku restaurant in Osaka, serving only A5-grade wagyu along with excellent wines. It is normally members-only, but reservations through byFood allow non-members to visit. Every dish is carefully thought out, using top-quality ingredients and excellent cooking techniques. Highlights include their famous wagyu katsu sandwich and seasonal vegetables, which are treated with the same care as the meat. Everything we tried was so delicious. Service is excellent and friendly, with a fun entertainment element using drums and a giant pepper grinder. If you are visiting Osaka and enjoy wagyu, Toraichi is highly recommended.

This is a members-only restaurant, but by making a reservation through byFood, you can enjoy a special dining experience. The interior is quiet, luxurious, and offers a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. The course menu focuses on wagyu beef, featuring A5-rank cuts from various regions, selected according to the day. Every dish is very prepared to highlight the full flavor of the wagyu!My recommendation is the wagyu sandwich. Not only is it delicious but the chef's entertaining presentation is also amazing! It's a highly recommended restaurant for anyone visiting Osaka.

Originally a members-only restaurant, this is a place where you can enjoy that same sense of exclusivity without needing a membership. After entering the restaurant by key code, we were immediately struck by an atmosphere of Japanese luxury — every detail, from the interior design and tableware to the lighting, was impeccably curated and a pleasure to take in. The course was centered around wagyu, beginning with an introduction to the day's selection and an explanation of what makes it worthy of being highlighted on the menu. Each dish showcased a different cooking method and seasoning, with spices and salts carefully selected and precisely balanced. One of my favorite moments was the wagyu sandwich midway through the course, when the chef performed right in front of us with an impressively large mill, bringing the atmosphere to its peak. It was a truly special dining experience, and one I would happily visit again.

Had a great time dining at Wagyu Matsumiya. The chef tries his best with a translator to strike up conversation and the dishes overall were all well thought out and well designed too. Enjoyed it much and would definitely come again.

This dinner was phenomenal!! A very intimate dinner setting with a broad course selection. The chef is very talented, & despite not speaking much English we communicated very easily with google translate. Once he found out we are on our honeymoon he generously showed us how to celebrate the Japanese way (with Saké, of course). This dinner was easily the highlight of our honeymoon!
