We were incredibly lucky to be welcomed into Sabrina’s home, where she and her daughter hosted us for a wonderful and memorable cooking class. Authentically non tourist experience in Syracuse - an evening where Sabrina collected my wife and I and we watched the sun go down on the Costa Bianca, a part of the city we would never have found on our own! Then afterwards a visit to Sabrina’s home when we made local pasta with tomato sauce, followed by a swordfish dish, a yummy orange and onion and chilli salad, and rounded off with a ricotta dessert. A unique experience and way to connect to real Sicilian cooking We had a special cooking and dining experience. The whole experience was designed to suit our preferences and with careful thought to make it fun. We are travelers and we love Sicilian cuisine very much. With Ottavia we had the opportunity to prepare some typical dishes in a familiar and welcoming context, chatting about cooking and travel. We cooked homemade pasta, parmigiana, Sicilian cod and cannoli with ricotta. Excellent recipes and easy to replicate. Cooking with Ottavia will certainly be a beautiful moment of your holiday in Sicily!!
