Saeko a very kind person and a wonderful teacher! She welcomed our group into her lovely home and taught us about all the ingredients we used. She also explained how Tamagoyaki, miso soup, and sushi differ between Osaka and Tokyo. She taught us how to make each one of these from scratch, and shared the wonderful recipes with us afterwards! I think I might get a Tamagoyaki pan, ha ha. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone who is interested in cooking or even just in a little cultural f...閱讀更多

Saeko was exceptional! We had a wonderful time learning more about Japanese Cuisine, and have definitely learned some wonderful new cooking tips we can bring back home. Thanks so much for a wonderful cooking lesson Saeko!
My family & I (2 adults and 2 kids - 10yrs & 9yrs) had the opportunity to make Sushi, Tamagoyaki & Miso Soup with Saeko. We had a fantastic time with Saeko taking the time to show us how to make each element of each item. My daughters were very engaged in the process eg when making the sushi Saeko showed us the recipe before we started mixing the ingredients for the rice, demonstrated how to cut the fish for the sushi before we each took our turn, how to make the rolls demonstrating the differen...閱讀更多
Wonderful experience! We booked a sushi making class for 2 (private), and had a wonderful time. We got invited into the home of Saeko, the chef who taught us, and saw a side of sushi making we hadn’t before. Saeko taught us how to make two different types of rolls, nigiri, miso soup and tamagoyaki. We learned every part of making the rolls, from preparing the ingredients and cutting the fish to fill the rolls and rolling them. Throughout the lesson she was very professional, and made sure to ex...閱讀更多
We had a fantastic family experience with Saeko who was an excellent host and made the cooking class a real highlight of our trip to Japan. Highly recommend the whole experience and best of all we left with full tummies and the cooking skills (which we have used many times since).
