Nice Teppanyaki with Foie Gras, Abalone, Lobster and Chateaubriand steak….

Overall a very nice meal. The broth and steak were delicious. Each ingredient was described noting origin, seasonality, and why each one was used. The server and chef were descriptive and welcoming. We appreciated the personalised messages, especially the one at the end of the meal regarding the Typhoon.

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The space was small and intimate, the staff was kind and attentive, and every course was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented. The Wagyu was the best steak I have ever had. It melted in our mouths like butter. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

Wagyu was excellent, and sitting at the counter really enhanced the experience. Thank you as well for the birthday cake surprise—it was a wonderful touch. I would definitely recommend this place.

Phenomenal food and excellent presentation. Service was also wonderful and staff was very friendly. Great spot for a business meal or quiet romantic dinner.

Overall good experience. The location is in the heart of Shinjuku making it very easy to get to via metro. The vibe inside is a 180 from the neighborhood as it is very laidback and cozy. The staff is super attentive and friendly. There was a nice variety of dishes and the courses were paced out very well. Never did I feel like I was being rushed or waiting between courses. The meal is very rich and filling so come with an appetite.

Beautiful meal

Our evening at Teppanyaki An was exceptional! The service was impeccable and the multi course meal that we ordered was fabulous! We enjoyed watching the chef prepare the exquisite food with great skill! And afterwards they reseated us next to the window so we could enjoy the view of the city. It was a very memorable evening the highlight of our meals in Japan!

We booked a reservation for 2 people about one month before our trip. We arrived right at our time and was immediately seated. There was about a 10 people line outside. The restaurant has about 6 tables and can seat about 16 people. We got the Top Rare and Special Rare boxes. The food was absolutely amazing! The meat just melts in your mouth. We also tried the premium draft beer, and it is one of the best beers we have ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant! We paid just to make a reservation (the fee did not go towards the food), and we thought the cost was totally worth it to save us time and guarantee us entry.
