Hiroshi knew all the chefs and ramen history. It was a great tour!

Akito was an amazingly gracious and knowledgeable host. We had such a great time at the tea farm and factory and learning everything about tea. If you are ever visiting Shizuoka, this is a must try experience. This has been my favorite part of our trip to Japan! Thanks Akito!

My friends and I enjoyed an incredible evening with Hiro on a food tour around Kyoto. He was gracious enough to accommodate two dietary restrictions for parts of our group - one pescatarian and one gluten-free in a four-person party - and picked restaurants that had plenty for all of us to enjoy. And beyond that, he was simply a lot of fun to be with and intensely knowledgeable about Kyoto, its history, and its culture. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a fun experience with Ryo trying some food combinations from different convenience stores. Ryo provided lots of information about the different stores and how people use them. It definitely gives you the confidence to use konbinis and know where to buy different items. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our private food tour with Hiroshi. We ate and drank multiple delicious samples of food specialties of Kyoto. Hiroshi spoke English and answered our questions and had full knowledge of everything we tasted. He was flexible to take us to the food we were interested. We recommend! 👍🏽

This was an incredible experience and a highlight of my trip! David went above and beyond to accommodate my agricultural interests and make the experience as fulfilling as possible. The area is so peaceful and beautiful to see and try wasabi, I would recommend to anyone!

Hiroshi was a great guide! The tour was informative and he took our preferences and dietary restrictions into account. If your looking to avoid the tourist traps in Nishiki market and still try the local cuisine, book this tour!

This was a wonderful experience. The opportunity to go behind the scenes of a place like Toyosu, where normal tourists cannot go and see the fish is awesome. Paco and Alessio were wonderful, knowledgeable, and more than willing to answer any questions we had. The meal after was phenomenal fresh and made the fish the star of the show. Highly recommend

Unforgettable night of yatai hopping with Bruce! ★★★★★ Our yatai food hopping tour was a highlight of our time in Fukuoka. Our guide Bruce was fantastic: relaxed, knowledgeable and clearly well connected with the stall owners. We started at a yatai run by a chef who's been cooking there with his wife for 35 years, now joined by their son. We had a comforting winter dashi broth, gooey bacon-wrapped rice cakes grilled to perfection (I could have eaten twenty), and noodles tossed on the grill plate and topped with bonito flakes. At our second stall we had our first ramen in Japan, lighter and cleaner than at home, paired with a citrus and honey beer, plus pork belly and chicken yakitori, a surprisingly tender, spicy beef tendon stew and hand-made gyoza. We even ended up chatting with some lovely locals sitting across from us. Bruce thought of everything, finishing the night by dropping us at the Ritz-Carlton rooftop bar and arranging our taxi home. Great food, great company and a real taste of local life. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience. David is such a passionate person that opens his secluded farm and shows what real wasabi is. This is very unique opportunity to try a specialty product in great company. Thank you.
