We were privileged to encounter an incredible experience exceeding even the highest of expectations. Vanessa began our personalize evening by walking with us through a nearby Supermarket where she introduced us to the typical foods, snacks, and beverages of Cuencons and the greater Ecuadorian culture. Shortly after returning to her home, she then graciously shared her magic and passion in the kitchen. She skillfully maneuvered the multi-course meal where she eagerly invited us to join her in making several beverages including a “toasty Christmas” drink, fresh juice, a couple of yummy starters, an exceptional spicy sauce, the most delicious and crazy ceviche, a succulent seco de pollo cooked and smothered in a tasty sauce, and topping the evening off with a simply devine dessert accompanied by a rich and unique cup of coffee from the Galapagos. Though out the evening Vanessa shared stories and histories of the foods and beverages we prepared and enjoyed together. We will definitely be spreading the love by bringing these dishes back to the USA sharing the meals with family and friends. Thank you Vanessa and byFoods for making this such a positive and powerful experience.
