Experience Details

Most camping trips require months of planning and a truck full of gear. This one doesn't.

With us, we handle the gear, the food, the site selection, and the basecamp setup — so from the moment you arrive, your only job is to enjoy where you are. What makes this different from a resort or glamping experience is that it's real camping — in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, home to elk, black bear, wild turkey, and some of Arizona's best stargazing — a landscape most visitors only see from a highway. Your guide knows the area and wants to share it.

Small groups keep it personal. Solo travelers and couples welcome. Your guide tailors the trip to the people on it — a gentle introduction for first-timers or a deeper exploration for those who simply want a knowledgeable companion in unfamiliar territory. No camping experience required. All gear and meals are included — just show up and let the forest do the rest.

What You’ll Experience

Our camp guide will introduce you to the area, handle all logistics — gear, food, site selection, and basecamp setup — and lead you through a genuinely hands-on outdoor experience. With your guide's direction you'll learn to set up and manage camp, practice cooking and share meals cooked fresh at camp. During your stay you may explore nearby trails, search for wildlife, identify local plants, and stargaze away from city lights. Activities vary by location and season and may include hiking, birdwatching, fire-starting techniques, camp cooking demonstrations, and guided nature walks. Every trip is tailored to the group — whether you're a first-time camper looking for a gentle introduction to the outdoors or an experienced adventurer wanting to explore a new corner of Arizona, you'll experience Arizona's wild beauty without the hassle of planning, packing, or figuring it out on your own. During your camping adventure, you’ll have everything you need — a comfortable basecamp with tents, sleeping bags, a fully stocked camp kitchen, bathroom facilities, and activity supplies. All meals are included. No experience is necessary.
