This relaxed tour introduces guests to a selection of island producers and makers, with opportunities to hear their stories, see how local products are created and enjoy tastings along the way. Meet a local salt maker producing sea salt from the pristine waters surrounding Norfolk Island, sample locally raised beef and discover the small-scale, hands-on approach that is such an important part of island life.
Guests will also enjoy tastings of traditional dishes inspired by recipes and techniques passed down through generations, including a taste of local in-season produce. Discover Norfolk Island’s emerging tea industry and sample a selection of locally blended teas before visiting a local beekeeper to learn about the island’s bees and enjoy a tasting of local honey.

Meet first hand local passionate producers. Taste and discover the fascinating history of Norfolk Island liqueurs. Producing 15 liqueurs, rum, and whiskey from mostly local ingredients. Visit a local bee-keeper

Informative and entertaining
Our driver Deb was very pleasant. Each of our three stops were informative and we got to try some tasty food, drinks and honey. Would recommend the tour to others.

Fantastic tour
Tour was fantastic. Included info about pickles, sea salt,btea and honey. Tour guide Rachel was fantastic and all the people we met at the different stops in the tour

A Taste of Norfolk
Our Taste of Norfolk Tour was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative tour visiting home businesses of the lovely Norfolk Islanders who are always welcoming and accommodating. So easy being picked up at our hotel with a smallish group. I highly recommend this tour.

A pleasant experience
This is not unmissable, in fact we went along only because we had vouchers. Having said that, we enjoyed our afternoon. Firstly we visited Alison's home to learn about salt production. We tasted a few different products and loved her stories. Alison is very entertaining (and yes she does have the best Loo and better wine). That was followed by a mediocre tea tasting and finally an interesting time with a local honey producer. The venues change over time. It was nice for the driver in our holida...read more
