A Wine Tasting Sailing Experience

The highlight of this experience is a guided tasting of 5 selected Cretan wines onboard, paired with local cheese, olives and seasonal fruit. Guests will explore Crete’s rich wine heritage, discover local grape varieties, and learn how the island’s history, land and climate shape the character of each wine. The journey begins at the historic Venetian Port of Heraklion, where guests board the elegant sailing yacht Princess Elena and set sail towards Dia Island. During the cruise, they can enjoy beautiful sea views, the coastline of Heraklion and the calm atmosphere of sailing in the Cretan waters. Once anchored at Dia Island, guests will have free time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe or simply relax in the crystal-clear waters. The wine tasting then takes place onboard, creating a unique setting where Cretan wine, local flavors and the sea come together. After the tasting, guests will enjoy a relaxing return sailing trip back to Heraklion.
