Discover the wonders of Cambodian food by going to a village cooking class in Siem Reap. Prepare to visit local houses, village life, and landmarks while whipping up delicious dishes. Cook with a private chef in their countryside kitchen, whilst learning the cultural traditions of several small rural villages. For authentic local food, vibrant village life, and amazing people.

First you get the pick up by your driver at 3:00 pm from your hotel. We'll take you to outside of Siem Reap City, then head through rice paddies and temples to a village of Siem Reap. Touring around the local village and visit the vegetable and marshroom farms and local rice wine distillation house. After that you going to taste aromatic herbs and tasty sauces, learn traditional techniques and create a variety of Khmer specialties, then immerse yourself in your delicious homemade dinner. Best of all, they'll give you a recipe book to go so you can recreate all your favorite dishes at home. Assisted by our Chef, you will learn and experience traditional Khmer cuisine. At the end of the cooking course, receive a recipe book to further explore Khmer cuisine. The visit ends with the drop-off at your hotel.

Wonderful, authentic cooking experience

I have done many cooking classes in many countries, but this was truly one of my favourites! Our guide, Bopha, was really lovely and welcoming. She took us to village markets and farms which were so charming and interesting and made us feel we were experiencing the authentic Cambodia! The venue for our cooking class was picturesque, and the meal we made was one of the best we had on our trip. I thoroughly recommend this experience 😊

Great experience!

The culinary experience was wonderful! It was a real immersion in Cambodian culture, from the tuk tuk tour, to the local fruit, vegetable and meat market and then ending up at home cooking great food all together. Super recommended! :)

A+ Guide and Food Tour - Highly recommend!

The entire experience was wonderful! From the time our guide Phareon, picked us up to the time we arrived back at our destination he took care of us. It was wonderful to see the village life, the crops they grow and how day to day life unfolds. The market had such a variety of good eats and the cooking experience was so informative and fun.
