Learn to cook traditional Khmer dishes with local instructors at a leading Siem Reap cooking school, then enjoy your creations over lunch, with recipes to take home.
Cambodian food rarely gets the international attention it deserves, and this half day cooking class is a chance to change that.
At one of Siem Reap's leading cooking schools, local instructors walk you through the ingredients that define Khmer cuisine, drawn from produce shared with Cambodia's neighbours yet shaped into something distinctly its own. No previous cooking experience is needed, professional chefs guide every step from ingredient preparation through to plating.
Once the dishes are ready, sit down with your fellow cooks to share the results over lunch, or dinner if you book the afternoon class. Printed recipes go home with you, ready to recreate the meal for friends and family.

This tour is operated on joint / Seat-In-Coach basis only with English-speaking instructors.
Return transfers for this excursion by Tuk Tuk only / are inclusive for customers staying in and inside Siem Reap. Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as Tonle Sap, Koh Ker, Banteay Srei and Siem Reap International Airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.

Please note pickup and drop-off services may not be confirmed for customers staying at private residences, apartment complexes, or other non-registered tourism accommodations. Customers may be asked to meet at a nearby hotel for pick-up and drop off.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.

This fun experience will become even more enjoyable with this team of enthusiastic foodies who will be there to guide you through all the steps. An explanation about the traditional ingredients is included before the pots and pans are taken out, and you’ll see fresh ingredients being turned into delicious Khmer dishes. You do not require having any cooking experience during this half-day as local professionals and food connoisseurs will be standing by, explaining every step carefully before presenting your dishes to your fellow master chefs.
At the end of the half-day, it is tasting time. This is the chance to share the result with your fellow cooking colleagues over lunch (dinner when you opt for the afternoon class) and get a taste of what everybody has prepared. Taking home the recipes is a given as a manual to turn your newly taught skills into reality when back in your country of residence.
After experiencing your cooked meal, the Khmer way, your driver will bring you back to your hotel with a bag full of excellent memories and ideas to cook something Khmer upon your return back home.

Fun for the whole family. This is...
<p>Fun for the whole family. This is one of the first cooking classes my kids were able to do. There were about 10 of us in the class. Nice facilities, it really is a cooking school as opposed to some which as in people's homes. I loved learning how to make amok chicken.</p>
