An Irish Halloween

An Irish Halloween
Experience Details
Internationally known, yet few realise that Halloween began here in Ireland.
Long before pumpkins, costumes and trick-or-treating, the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain marked the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter—a night when the veil between our world and the spirit world was believed to be at its thinnest.
Join us as we uncover the origins of Halloween through Ireland's oldest legends. Hear the tale of Stingy Jack, discover the traditions that inspired a global celebration, and wander through Dublin after dark as centuries of folklore come to life.
The evening concludes with a traditional Silent Supper, freshly baked barmbrack, and seasonal treats in one of our favourite independent cafés, offering a truly authentic taste of an Irish Halloween.
