Welcome vinophytes. It is with pleasure to receive you (morning or afternoon) on the estate of La Mondette 15 minutes drive from the charming village of Saint-Émilion. After welcome over a small coffee, I will offer you a small walk through the vineyard to tell you a little about the estate, the terroir and the wine aspects I undertake for my production. This will be followed by a short tour of the winery and barrel cellar where I will explain the principles of red winemaking, which is important for the continuity of the workshop. You would then have some elements of knowledge that will allow you to approach more serenely the initiation to professional tasting that I ensured through a small support that will be given to you as well as various exercises of sensory analyses. Finally, the heart of the workshop will come where you will have the opportunity to make your own blend through the different grape varieties and winemaking methods I make.
