Berber Cooking Class and 2-Hour Village Trek in Azzaden Valley

Berber Cooking Class and 2-Hour Village Trek in Azzaden Valley
Delve into Berber life in Azzaden Valley. Cook with locals, share stories, and explore village life. Experience the true heart of Moroccan culture, away from the tourist path.
Experience Details
This experience offers an intimate glimpse into authentic Berber life far from the tourist trail, deep in the peaceful Azzaden Valley of the High Atlas Mountains. Unlike typical cooking classes, you’ll join a real Berber family in their home, not a staged kitchen, learning traditional recipes passed down through generations.
You’ll actively participate in making Berber bread and a home-cooked tagine or couscous, while sharing stories, laughter, and customs with your hosts. The day blends hands-on cooking with cultural immersion, including wearing traditional clothing, visiting a village touched by recent history, and walking alongside rivers and orchards.
With a small group and personalized attention, this is more than a tour — it’s a heartfelt connection to Moroccan heritage, flavors, and landscapes that few travelers get to experience.
