This is a Hands-on preparation of authentic Honduran/Bay Island dishes, such as the “pastelitos,” a traditional Honduran snack, and learn step by step the process. The second meal will consist of preparing a delicious stewed chicken in coconut milk and plantains. The recipes of both meals will be available on the day of the tour and can be downloaded using a QR code available at the cooking class facilities. We will have products available for purchase, including Honduran vanilla, Guifity traditional drink, organic coffee, and spices.

Yes Yes Yes!!!!

This was an absolutely amazing experience! We had a blast cooking with Della and Louis. The food was delicius and the hosts were even better. This was my favorite event so far. The added cultural experience was a bonus. Those monkeys were wild! Overall 10/10 I will recommend again and again!

Unforgettable Taste of Roatan Culture

This cooking class and cultural experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Roatán! The cultural portion was so insightful, and we came away with a much deeper appreciation for the island’s history and traditions. Cooking at it's best!

From the time we got off the cruise ship it was a great experience! Reny was the attentive gracious host to the 4 of us to the point of making sure his car was spotless and he stayed with us the entire time making sure we had the best experience. Louis and his team made us feel at home as he told us about the culture and history of Roatan. And the cooking class was such a great experience! I would highly recommend Roatan Five Stars tours!

Sloths, Monkeys, and Honduran cooking class

We did a morning excursion starting with the monkey & sloth experience, and finishing with the cooking class. I would suggest doing both. The sloths and monkeys were a hoot. We got to pet the sloths and get in the monkey cage. Being a little germaphobic, I was initially uncomfortable, but I decided to get in. A monkey jumped right on my head and it was precious. Excellent

Driver picked us up outside of gate, about a 10 minute walk. Went to see the monkeys and sloths before our cooking class. Wonderful hosts, and yummy food. Learned some history of Roatan also. Nona was also there to help us out! Got the recipes and was given a lovely gift. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for something authentic and different. Much better than riding around in a bus, in my opinion! Thanks for a great experience!
