Excellent tour with fantastic food!
It was an amazing experience! We did the evening tour. Our host Wendy was fabulous - we learned a lot of history behind the foods of Mazatalan, and also got a real feel for the culture. I would recommend it for everyone. The food was delicious!

Fantastic Tour - Highly Recommended
We attended the Barrio Bites food tour while on a recent trip with family. This was a fantastic experience for all of us, and I highly recommend it to anyone. The food was fantastic and plentiful, but just as importantly was the information share about Mazatlan and the places we visited. Maaike was a fantastic tour guide, and we (all 9 of us) had a wonderful time.

If you have limited time, do this tour!
I think the best way to start a visit to a new place is a food tour, and this was a perfect example of that. Although our cruise ship only gave us limited time in port, this tour not only allowed us to try foods I’ve never had before from all over town, but we learned about the history and culture of Mazatlan from our lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable guide. Wonderful taste or Mazatlan
We had a fantastic food tour through Mazatlán with Maaiike as our guide! We not only enjoyed some incredible local food, but also learned so much about Mazatlán’s history, culture, and traditions along the way. From tacos and smoked tuna to local shrimp and a visit to the microbrewery, every stop offered something unique.
