Birding, Breakfast & Critters with a Local Naturalist

Birding, Breakfast & Critters with a Local Naturalist
Experience Details
This Experience takes place in a Special Tropical Home private residence in the former Canal Zone. The home, former US Air Force Officer’s housing, is over 80 years old and thoroughly remodeled. We will have a delicious breakfast made by a cook from the interior of Panama in a large screen room with views of the garden.
While we are eating breakfast and sipping on our smoothies, we will watch a variety of tropical birds come in to the bird structures set up for this purpose. Some of the birds are quite large, some are quite small, some are quite pretty, and some are quite noisy!!
Animals come into the garden too, such as gatos solos (Coatimundi) Mono Titi monkeys (Geoffrey's Tamarin), Ñeques (Agouti) and Variegated Squirrels..
The home is full of unusual art, both upstairs and downstairs. You will be able to tour the house during your Experience and get a good idea how some Expats live in Panama!

Really great solo activity. A nice slow morning with breakfast and lots of colorful birds and other animals to look at. Really appreciated Greg’s company and his two dogs!
