Based at Laverstoke Mill near Winchester, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery is home to all Bombay Sapphire gin.
Every experience starts with a trip to the Turbine Bar to choose a Bombay gin to make a gin & tonic before heading to the cinema room to be immersed in all things Bombay Sapphire in preparation for the tour. Discover the history behind Bombay Sapphire and the paper-making business at Laverstoke Mill, before uncovering the secrets of the rare production processes used to make Bombay Sapphire. Your guide will tell you about the botanicals that go into the gin in the Botanical Glasshouses and the Botanical Dry Room.
What You Get
Good To Know
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years (under 18s must be accompanied at all times by an adult). A 'Challenge 25' policy is in place, valid photo ID is required.
- The Bombay Sapphire Distillery is a cashless venue and only card or contactless payments will be accepted.
- Operates in all weather conditions and parts of the tour are outside, please dress appropriately.
- Wheelchair accessible - manual wheelchairs are available to book on request.
- A small amount of walking is involved and there are some uneven surfaces.
- Do not wear open-toed shoes or high heels to the distillery.

Very enjoyable trip excellent guide, and very nice lunchtime snacks in the cafe. Beware, if approaching from the north entrance comes up a tad quickly. Could do with an advance sign.
