Great Food & Drink whilst finding out more about Bordeaux

A pleasant and interesting afternoon in Bordeaux with the excellent host Alexandra, who took us to some amazing food shops and a really nice wine merchants to eat all the food we collected on the way. The tour combined some historical and current facts about the city with some really good food and wine. There was only the 2 of us on that particular tour so we had a bespoke guided trip. Happy to recommend - thanks Alex

Foodie bliss in Bordeaux.

Alexandra conducted our tour in English and it was great to get the benefit of her extensive knowledge. - We learned a lot about French food, drink, history and customs and met some really interesting hosts. Stories were informative and humourous. There were plenty of nibbles during the morning and the tour finished up in an atmospheric wine cellar to the rear of an upmarket wine shop. The charcuterie, cheese and wine was served up on the "big table" and we had a ball for more than an hour. Ale...read more

Great Food Tour in Bordeaux

An absolutely wonderful experience. Alexandra was a terrific tour guide. She blended historical information about Bordeaux with the food and wine we tasted. It was a great sampling of the food in Bordeaux, and the charcuterie she put together for the wine tasting was superb. We all enjoyed the tour tremendously and recommend it very highly.
