Great day out on bikes in the vineyards and surrounding

Excellent experience Bikes are new and well equipped Our guide for the day- Valentin- was very passionate about wines and clearly loves his job. Very nice fellow. Just a great day out explaining the geology, topography, terroir, climat etc etc. I knew a little bit about wines starting the day and a lot more by the end!!

Half was a great tour...

Val was a great tour guide who spoke good English. He was very informative regarding the area, the vineyards and how the Burgundy wine area is different and unique in the way the land is plotted. I would highly recommend him. We rented bikes from Active Tours in Beaune. It was a full day of biking, lunch, tastings and 2 wineries.

Great day with Eric

We had a great day with Eric and a great group of people. Spectacular scenery and electric bikes made the ride easy. Nice paced day with lovely lunch to break up day. Eric is so knowledgeable of area and the wines. He delivered his knowledge with humour way and easy to understand analogy to understand wine labelling in region. Biking through Burgundy was a bucket-list experience for me—and it was truly magnificent! 🚴‍♀️🍷 The e-bike was easy and fun to operate, and our group was lively and wonderful company. Our guide, Eric, was an expert cyclist with an impressive knowledge of Burgundy’s wines and history. We had a great experience on our bike tour and wine tasting with Valentin of Bourgogne Evasion By Active Tours. Valentin was an awesome guide and he gave us a lot of good information about the Burgundy region and the art and science of winemaking. He also explained why the Burgundy region is one of the best places in the world to make wine.
