Immerse yourself in a private cooking class at local's home, learn the secrets of the most famous dishes of Verona cuisine and taste the fruit of your labour accompanied by a selection of local wines. During the lesson the local home cook will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic Verona recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Each participant will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines. This experience is held by Cesarine: Italy’s oldest network of 1000+ home cooks all over the country in more than 500 cities. They are passionate and welcoming hosts that open the doors of their own homes to curious travellers for immersive culinary experiences.

learning to cook italian style

We had such a fun time at this cooking class! The host made us feel at home and walking away with new cooking skills was a bonus. The pasta dough was tricky but worth all the effort. Sat down to eat everything with local wine and good conversation. Definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon in Verona.

Amazing cooking class!

Cristiana was wonderful! She welcomed me with my husband and 2 girls (9/11) into her house for an amazing private cooking class. She was very lovely and accommodating with us. She is an excellent teacher and we loved learning to make pasta and tiramisu with her. My 9 y/o girl doesn’t like tiramisu and we made a variation of the original recipe with strawberry and it was amazing! My girl loved it and ate all of it. Evening to remember!

Michela and Moreno made us feel immediately at home. They welcomed us with an aperitif based on local products and there was immediate harmony between them and our entire group. Michela was able to pass on the passion for fresh pasta even to one of the group who did not even want to try. We chatted a lot with them and the dinner was delicious! Thanks again to both of you for the beautiful evening!

Such a great experience

Michela, is just great! She ist so lovely and has just patient with children! You feel directly like home in her place and it’s super central. I offered this experience for my son’s birthday. She also baked a delicious chocolate cake with the kids! Making pasta with an original Italian chef was so great. She gave us many tips and we had all a great time and a super lunch 👌 thank you so much!

Go and learn to make Gnocchi!

What a great experience and so much fun! Michela taught my husband and I to make potato gnocchi & pumpkin gnocchi. She welcomed us into her home with a wonderful snack and excellent conversation. Then we got to work in her lovely kitchen. She is an excellent teacher and very personable. We left feeling like we had made a new friend and ready to try making gnocchi at home. We will be back for more lessons when we return to Verona. Do not hesitate to take this class.
