Hautvillers

10:30 - 10:50  Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe d'Hautvillers (Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers). It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river. 10:50 Departure to Epernay (10 km). It takes about 10 minutes.

11:00 - 12:30  Arrival in Epernay. We offer two different Experiences. The Cellars guided tour is the same nut different Champagne cuvées will be tasted. BASIC “MILLESIME Experience” English Guided Cellars visit "le Cellier" with its oak barrels, "la Cuverie" with its impressive stainless-steel vats, our historical cellars, listed as Unesco World Heritage and the family "Trésor". Tasting of two great Champagnes: the ambassador the Brut Réserve and the Grand Vintage 2015. Duration: 1,5 hour, 12 people max. MOST POPULAR “JOYAU Experience” English Guided Cellars visit "le Cellier" with its oak barrels, "la Cuverie" with its impressive stainless-steel vats, our historical cellars, listed as Unesco World Heritage and the family "Trésor". Tasting of two most prestigious vintage Champagnes: the Joyau 2012 and the Joyau Chardonnay 2007. Duration: 1,5 hour, 12 people max.

Epernay

12:30 - 13:45 Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists. 13:45 Departure to Paris. It takes 2 to 2,5 hours depending on traffic (135 km).
