Infants, children and youths are welcome on the tour but be aware that it is designed with adults in mind, and they might get a little bored or find the walk tiring if they are very young!

The tour meets here for introductions. Your friendly guide lets everyone know what to expect from your food tour in Chetser. You will have a short history of Chester and hear a few of Chester's stories on the way to your first food stop. This is a unique experience with the dish designed for the Chester Food Tour. Stroll along the walls to Chester's maginifcent amphitheatre from and take in the culturally rich Roman gardens, an open air museum, where there will be photo opportunities. Your tour guide will tell you some fascinating information during this part of your walking tour in Chester. You will learn about the Roman occupation of Chester and the surrounding area. See the stunning River Dee, there are so many things to do in Chester and a Riverside stroll is a highlight. The best preserved Roman walls in the world, your Chester Food Tour will walk around the walls and hear stories of the civil war and Chester under seige before you are led off the walls to a genuine hidden gem of food delights! Only on our guided food tour of Chester. Visit Chester's Food Market and hear from an incredible artisan producer. She will tell you about her business and how she created a dessert for the Chester Food Tour using Cheshire produce and celebrating the bounty of the county!

In between the sightseeing there will be a number of fabulous independent food stops to eat and drink a variety of local and global food at SECRET INDEPENDENT VENUES around the city of Chester. The best restaurants and bars in Chester will be visited on this food tour, and you will taste the wonderful creations our venues have craeted for you, including locally made drinks from microbreweries and distillers. Non-alcoholic drinks are provided for those who don't wish to drink alcohol and are interesting and varied -The walking never lasts more than 20-25 minutes without a rest for food or drink. - We have up to 9 food/drink experiences. The duration of time spent in venues is 2 hours and 5 minutes.
