+13 photosWe had an awesome day. Our tour guide” Massimo” was so professional friendly . He educated us during our drive and answered all our questions. He was top notch!!! You could tell how proud he is of his region and that makes such a difference. 10 stars for him!! The 2 wineries we visited were exceptional, the owners were so friendly and the whole experience was beyond our expectations
We had an amazing day with Simone, she was lovely, thoughtful, knowledgeable and efficient. It was one of the best days of our 20 day trip. The two wineries we went to were awesome and very different. The basil pasta we had at the first stop prepared by Jessica's MIL was the best meal if our trip!!

Massimo picked us up at our condo in Borgo alle Vigne. He chose two exceptional wineries for us to visit. On our drive to the first winery he told us about the area gave us explanation about the agriculture in the area and the type of wineries we would be visiting. Both wineries were exceptional. The first winery Poggio Al Sole was a larger winery and we tasted multiple wines there. We actually saw the owner of the winery and were able to go behind the scenes for a look at the making of the win...read more
