Experience Details

The Chocolate Therapist makes handcrafted, all-natural chocolate on site. We are a clean-ingredient company. There are no dyes, preservatives, artificial ingredients, soy, or corn syrup in anything we make. Because of this, our chocolate pairs particularly well with wine and spirits, and our classes have been highly popular for many years. We also have a full-service coffee bar and a self-serve wine bar, so you can come in and order wine and a flight of chocolate and create your own pairing, even if you're not taking the class. The Chocolate Therapist is a completely unique experience, and it's nestled in the heart of a charming historic downtown area, filled with restaurants and one-of-a-kind local shops. We have customers who land at the airport and head straight to our shop for their first stop. We'd love to see you too!

What You’ll Experience

The adventure begins! Learn how chocolate is made from bean to bar and how to taste chocolate properly while sampling single-origin chocolate. Next, we'll pair four different international and domestic wines with 2 chocolates* each, all handcrafted at the The Chocolate Therapist and made specifically for pairing with wines (4 wines, 10 chocolates total). Shopping discount at end of class. *Chocolates are gluten-free, soy-free and the dark is made without dairy. (14-person limit per class to insure everyone gets plenty of wine, wines change every quarter!) No alcohol option: Tea can be substituted for wine, so guests that don't drink can enjoy the class as well. Please call or e-mail the shop if you have a guest that prefers tea at least 2 days before the class. Age limit: 16+ (no alcohol served to anyone under age 21) Vegan option: Please call or e-mail the shop if you have a guest that prefers all vegan chocolate at least 2 days before the class.
