Experience Details
Peljesac peninsula is the place where some of Croatia's finest wines are cultivated! A typical day begins with a small group at around 9am and returning around 5pm. Small-group day tour with 3 winery visits, vineyards, meeting winemakers when available , city of Ston sightseeing at your own time.
During the day you will learn about Crotian wine, history, grape varieties,how wine is made, different styles of wine produced today, factors which influence quality and prices of wines, sparkling wines and champagne style wines and lot more.
Lot's of attention would be paid to wine and food matching, tapas style food would be included.

Great variety of wineries, some teaching and a fabulous lunch! The tour was nicely paced. Be sure to bring water so you can enjoy each winery!
Mario is very knowledgeable! We learnt a lot and had a great time. Nice transportation in a smart air conned mini van which we appreciated. Visited areas that we wouldn’t have otherwise been to.
