Tea and coffee
Coffee and/or Tea
1. You will receive a brief introduction to the standards and processes of high-quality coffee production. You will know how coffee is produced in Colombia in case you cannot go to a farm.
2. You will blindly grade several coffee types, using a professional coffee sensory protocol. You will be able to interact with the attendees when evaluating them.
3. You will understand how coffee flavors are extracted through some of the best Colombian samples.
4. You will understand concepts such as fragrance, aroma, body and aftertaste, and how they help you enjoy the true taste of coffee.
5. You will appreciate the real difference between low and high quality coffee.
The experience ends with a brief coffee preparation class and some coffee consumption recommendations.

Must do for any coffee lovers
Couldn’t recommend this enough. We had just come from a coffee plant tour so it’s the perfect next step in our coffee journey.

Excellent experience
I really liked the experience, it was very complete and we learned a lot from coffee, we had already made more coffee experiences even on a farm, but I feel that this was the missing complement to experience all phases of coffee and really know how to choose a good coffee. I liked that Javier knows a lot about the subject and explains very well, apart from giving you a list of where you can go to buy a good coffee

Epic coffee tasting experience with Javier
My family booked the coffee experience on a whim. We took my older parents in their 70s, my husband and myself and my 10 yo son (who brought a book to keep himself busy). This ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Medellin and even my son participated and throughly enjoyed the experience because Javier was so engaging! Great coffee tasting experience with Javier
we booked the coffee tasting experience with Javier and it was phenomenal. He covered the part of coffee knowledge and tasting which you don’t get by visiting a coffee farm so it was a perfect experience. Javier knows a lot about specialty coffee and it is done in a really nice setting in the hotel. Can highly recommend!
