Good to Know

Embark on a sensory tour through the different flavors of chocolate in Colombia! We will sample chocolates from 5 different regions with differing percentages of cocoa. We will learn all about the chocolate production process, as well as the different tropical fruits that the Colombian cocoa is paired with. Each person will choose their favorite cocoas that they sampled and then we will learn how to make our own chocolate truffle creations out of them! Afterwards everyone will get to take home their own handmade chocolates in a small gift box. Finally we will indulge in a pastry and hot chocolate treat to wrap up our tour. You will have a choice between a traditional almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, mantecada, or an arepa made of: corn, anise, cheese, boyacense, or santandereana. By joining us on this tour you are not only enjoying a unique gastronomic experience, but you´re also helping to support local Colombian businesses.

Fun and easy morning, with gifts!

Super fun activity. Make your own beautiful set off chocolates with various filling. Learn about the stages of chocolate production and it's importance in the regional economy. Very fun and engaging.

Delicious Chocolate

This was a great experience. We learned lots about the process of making chocolate and the health benefits of eating organic chocolate. We got to make our own truffles. We also enjoyed a delicious snack of hot chocolate with cheese and bread and sampled 7 different types of chocolates that you could then buy to take some home to share or keep for yourself. 5 stars 🌟

Yum!

This was the best chocolate tour! It ended up being just me and my friend with the guide, which was perfect because we could ask all our questions & we got to learn so much about the chocolate growing and production process. The shop they teach the class in is so cute & has lots of goodies available for purchase. We got to try five types of chocolate, hot chocolate, tea, cocoa juice, and bread. Well worth the time & money. We had Melissa as our guide and she was the absolute BEST!!!
