My teenage daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed this cookery class and would recommend it. Communication regarding our taxi pick up was clear. We met our guide at a colourful food market where we selected a vegetable to try that we had seen before and learnt about Sri Lankan food customs and preferences. Highly recommend this cooking class, if you’re looking for an authentic experience in Colombo. The cooking was a lot of fun, the dishes were super delicious and Pradeep was a great guide :) couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a relaxing, but interactive afternoon in Colombo.

We had an incredible time at the Colombo Cooking Experience. From the moment we started with the market tour to the final bite of our meal, everything was seamless. Learning about the different Sri Lankan spices and how to balance flavours was eye-opening. The host was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the entire process fun and interactive. If you want to go beyond just eating and actually understand the heart of Sri Lankan cuisine, this is a must-do!
