Experience Details

Live a unique oenological experience in an urban cellar in the heart of Darwin in Bordeaux. This activity immerses you in a participatory workshop, where you become an actor in the creation of a wine.

Accompanied by Maxime, oenologist, and Annaëlle, assistant cellar master, you discover the behind-the-scenes winemaking during a visit to the cellar and a tasting of cuvées accompanied by a cheese board.

Scout through the characteristics of the main Bordeaux grape varieties to understand what makes the region’s wines rich: blending.

What makes this experience special is that you move from theory to practice. From different monovines, you create your own blend, bottle your wine and leave with your own personalised cuvée.

Between pedagogy, tasting and creation, this immersion in an urban cellar in the heart of Bordeaux offers an original and interactive approach to the world of wine.

We were welcomed by a young woman (and her adorable dog) who was very pleasant and especially very competent! The experience turned out to be very informative for the enthusiasts that we were.
