Join my Chef’s Table in Curaçao, an intimate dining experience in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Throughout the evening, a small group of guests gathers around the chef’s table to enjoy a seasonal multi-course menu inspired by Caribbean flavors, locally sourced ingredients, and personal stories. This is not a traditional restaurant experience. You are welcomed into my kitchen, where I prepare a carefully curated chef’s menu right in front of you, sharing the inspiration behind each dish along the way. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.

At the Chef's Table, you'll have a front-row seat to watch Chef Helmi at work as she prepares a menu that showcases the vibrant colors and bold flavors that define Caribbean cuisine. Seated around a beautifully set kitchen island, sixteen guests enjoy a good glass of wine while Chef Helmi prepares a four-course dinner right before your eyes. With each course, she explains the ingredients and techniques she uses, often surprising even local guests with her innovative dishes. There’s a common misconception that Caribbean cuisine lacks refinement, leading many fine dining chefs to focus on international cuisines with imported ingredients. However, the island offers some of the freshest, finest ingredients, perfect for creating contemporary and elegant dishes. The Chef's Table was a fantastic dining experience!! Helmi's kitchen was incredibly cozy and comfortable. Service was top notch! The food was delicious and I will admit my favorite was the lion fish tiradito....amazing!! Wine parings were also perfect! I'm still searching for the Sauvignon Blanc that you served that night!! Can't wait to do it again!!

A culinary experience richer.

Great food, nice wines with the dishes, a cozy location. A nice concept, with strangers at the chef’s table. Enjoy the various dishes with local ingredients together. Helmi and her team had a great evening. A super nice experience richer.

Experience a rare culinary gem on Curaçao

Helmi Smeulders DE chef’s table is a must do on Curaçao if you love culinary delights. The level of experience EN taste is far above what DE restaurants locally ENgen and can compete with DE top chefs in Europe. DE price quality is also better DAN anywhere else with the excellent wine pairing at this level. An evening at Helmi's in her cooking studio is an experience you won't easily forget.
