Join local expert Manisha on a guided visit to the vibrant Goubert Market, where you'll discover fresh local ingredients and learn about their cultural significance before heading to her home for a hands-on cooking class. Blending Indian and French Creole influences, the class goes beyond recipes to explore the connection between food, culture, and wellness. After preparing traditional dishes from scratch, you'll enjoy a shared meal and meaningful cultural exchange in a warm, local setting.

Shop, cook, and taste Pondicherry with local expert Manisha on this immersive culinary journey. Your adventure begins with a guided tour of the historic Goubert Market to source fresh, seasonal produce. After choosing your custom menu and chatting with local vendors, you will ride a traditional rickshaw straight to Manisha's home kitchen. Once there, you will enjoy a 2.5-hour interactive cooking class and prepare two to three authentic dishes from scratch. You can choose between a traditional Indian or a unique French Creole menu. Throughout the session, you will learn about sustainable cooking, local heritage, and the medicinal value of traditional ingredients.

A must in Pondicherry!

This is an absolute must in Pondicherry! Manisha is a wonderful host and after meeting she led us through the maze of the Goubert market and showed us so many amazing things. She made suggestions about a menu aligned to our tastes and then we picked up the ingredients fresh. She led us through each recipe (we made several dishes) step by step and the resulting meal was out of this world. An excellent culinary experience with Manisha.We start the day with a visit to the market to buy the fresh ingredients. Then after a little rickshaw ride, we meet in Manisha's kitchen who explains the preparations we will make! It is a pleasure to taste what we have prepared, all the flavors of India! Beautiful culinary and cycling discovery of Pondi

Thanks to Manezsha, we made a beautiful discovery of Pondicherry by bike. Very friendly walk in the quiet French quarter, tour to the market to buy the groceries necessary for the realization of Indian dishes, which we prepared at her home with 2 very nice French ladies from Strasbourg. Thank you, Maneesha! We can't wait to remake your recipes at home now:)
